BETONIT EZYPLAST

1)    What are the uses of Ezyplast?

Betonit Ezyplast is a plastering aid, and is primarily used to improve adhesion of the mortar to smooth surfaces, thus eliminating the need for scarifying work or “pag-tiktik.” Also, to prevent premature drying of the mortar that may result in cracking.

2)    What is “Bonding Aid”?

Used as an additive to cement mortar to create a slurry.  This slurry is similar to an adhesive to help plaster mortar adhere to the smooth substrate.  So, no need to “tiktik” the surface.  (Examples of smooth surfaces are those of pillars, “buhos”)

3)    What is “Plastering Aid”?

A common problem of plastering is cracking of the plaster as a result of premature drying.  Using Ezyplast as an additive helps control water loss in mortar for proper curing, thereby reduces shrinkage and cracking of plaster coat.

4)    What is the difference between Ezyplast and Betonit Plus?

Betonit Plus is an all-purpose cement modifier, and it is most useful for customers who want a single product with multiple uses.  It is highly recommended for repair works and tiling which require superior adhesion. However, for customers who are looking specifically for a plastering aid, then they can simply purchase Ezyplast.
