Betonit Tile Adhesive

Betonit Tile Adhesive is a polymer-modified mixture of portland cement, and graded fine sand. Exceeds the requirements set by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) 118.1.

It is used for interior or exterior fixing or laying of ceramic tiles, granite, and marble using the thin-set method. Use over floors, walls or substrate made of concrete, existing well-bonded tiled surface, granolitic, cement or plywood. Use with ceramic tiles, granite, marble, and decorative wall claddings

ADVANTAGES

Effective

  • Prevents tile-bond failure and tile cracks.
  • Highly adhesive with greater tensile and bonding strength.

Less Material Needed

  • Thin-bed method application of at least 3mm thick.

Speeds Up Work

  • Gives the mason an open time of 20 minutes to spread the adhesive over a larger area (1-sqm) before tiling.
  • Can correct joint alignment and tile pattern within 10 minutes of laying tile without affecting bonding strength.
  • Remains a sticky paste for 3 hours without remixing. Not like ordinary cement which becomes crumbly after a few minutes sitting time.

Improved Workability

  • Good flow and smooth consistency of the product provides ease in troweling and tooling, resulting in cleaner, more efficient work.
